Mouse IL-2

$65.00 - $125.00

Produced primarily by activated CD4+ T-helper cells, and to a lesser extent by CD8+ T-cells and NK cells, IL-2 is crucial for immune responses and tolerance. It binds to high- or low-affinity IL-2 receptor complexes, triggering signaling pathways through JAK1, JAK3, and STAT5. This cytokine acts as a T-cell growth factor, enhancing NK-cell activity and promoting B-cell proliferation and immunoglobulin production. IL-2 also regulates the survival of regulatory T-cells and supports the differentiation of various effector T-cell subsets, including Th1, Th2, Th17, and memory CD8+ T-cells.
